Maderas Village is a spacious, sustainably-minded surf village nestled into a hillside jungle, overlooking Playa Maderas, a beach break just outside of San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. It offers travelers a handful of accommodation options including The Cottages, ideally suited for 2-3 couples, The Cabanas can sleep 1-4 people comfortably and The Dreamcatcher House, which provides an economical, yet comfortable sleeping option for single travelers, friends, or couples on a budget. Each room at The Dreamcatcher House sleeps a maximum of four people so you will never feel as if you’re staying in a crowded hostel.

During your stay you should expect to enjoy tasteful meals at one of their communal tables. They serve clean, simple and well executed fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. While you’re there we recommend trying the fish tacos from Tacos Locos, beachfront at Playa Maderas, at least once.
