Mac Lethal is making some damn fine pancakes. In fact his pancakes are so good they landed him on the Billboard charts. Also, unfortunately, this most definitely solidifies his title moving forward as, Mac Lethal, Pancake Rapper.
Mac Lethal, whose real name is David McCleary Sheldon released the video above on November 30th and as of the week of December 17th it debuted at No. 31 on the Billboard Social 50.A ranking of the most active artists on the world’s leading social networking sites
We love pancakes, in fact we’ve recently perfected a recipe for pancakes with mezcal glazed apples. Despite their extremely pleasing flavor and consistent presence around brunch we have to say that Mac Lethal’s shortstack not only crushes but they look tasty as hell.
Mac Lethal, born David McCleary Sheldon, is a rapper representing Kansas City, MO. He released his first album, Men Are from Mars, Porn Stars Are from Earth in 2002, years after having already garnered a reputation on the freestyling/battle-rhyming circuit. He signed to Rhymesayers Entertainment in 2004, but it took close to three years for him to release his first album on the label, when, in October 2007, Lethal released 11:11. Lethal is co-founder of Black Clover Records, a Kansas City-based label that has been home to his four-volume set of albums entitled The Love Potion Collection, released between 2003-2007. ~ Vincent Thomas, All Music Guide
