Cook Street School of Culinary Arts and Daniels School of Business present Recipe for BusinessThe Cook Street School of Culinary Arts and the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver have partnered to create Recipe for Business. A one-of-a-kind course specially designed for culinary professionals. The initial program kicks off all day Saturday March 24, 2012 and then meets on Mondays and Tuesday (5-8PM) through April 24, 2012.

Perfect for the entrepreneur looking to launch a line of baked kale chips, specialty catering company or gourmet sandwich shop. The program overview claims “you will walk away with what will be the key ingredient to success: a fully completed and dynamic business plan.”

As part of the experience program participants will receive:

  • Insight into the restaurant industry’s unique complexities gained from local entrepreneurs and successful business owners and CEOs
  • Industry analysis of trends, the marketplace and competition
  • Guidance in creating necessary tools to attract investors and mange financials
  • Direction in establishing the appropriate legal entity
