Lunchables and mom’s sack lunches kept us happily fed when we were able, young and growing bodies. We’ve since moved on to cheese plates while we’re out on the town and now plenty of restaurants offer custom cheese and charcuterie plates. It’s fun to do at home and now Cheese and Crack, the brain child of William Frederick Steuernagel V, wants to make it easy to do on the fly. Imagine an impromptu snack at the park, an easy picnic or a cute way to say I love you (or I’m sorry).

Yes it’s simply crackers, cheese & charcuterie from a food cart available in Portland, OR. They’re trying to raise some funds using Kickstarter. Which begs us to ask, Cheese and Crack, how are you doing it?

We’re making the crackers from scratch and sourcing the cheese, charcuterie, and all the accoutrements from purveyors as local as we could find.

Convenient.
