Adam Aleksander PortraitLes Salonnieres Artists Salon & Supper Club was started a little over two years ago by multi-talented experiential event designer Adam Aleksander. The next event will be hosted by food writer, Jenny Miller and Adam on Sunday, February 12, 2012 and the theme is New Orleans. For those of you who have yet to attend an Adam Aleksander presents event, rest assured that you will thoroughly enjoy what promises to be a unique experience.

Set inside a charmingly dilapidated Lower East Side tenement building you’ll meet some of New York Cities most interesting, creative & unique individuals, Adam himself is all of the above.

All of the Les Salonnieres Artists Salon’s showcase an inspiring and engaging mix of entertainment that typically follow a programming schedule, we use that term loosely, offering musicians, artists, costume designers and entrepreneuers alike a platform to share their passions with other like minded individuals.

You’re most likely to discover a photobooth from Ventikoland that feels more like an installation piece, she creates unique set designs for events of all shapes and sizes. Walk around the corner and you may stumble across (literally) live painting, a poetry reading or some sketch comedy. This time around we’re promised exposure to costume designer Erik Bergrin, a performance from musician Galia Arad and an installation from Ash Epps.

The Les Salonnieres Artists Salon & Supper Club events are typically broken into two segments. The evening begins with a supper club ($45. tickets available here) followed by the artists salon, which is always free. The Supper Club is from 6-8PM and the Artists Salon runs from 8-late…

During the Artist Salon bespoke cocktails featuring Makers Mark Bourbon, Edward III Absinthe, and Gin from mixologist Brian Quinn (Maison Premiere & Silver Lining) will be available for purchase.

The four course menu for the February 12, 2012 Les Salonnieres Artists Salon & Supper Club will be served with a Maker’s Mark Cocktail, Red Wine, and Perrier water. Your chefs for the evening will be Adam Aleksander, Jenny Miller, & Julianne Warren
